Our Story
Hi! I’m Shauna, animal lover, trainer, lifelong learner. I live with my partner and our 5 year old Italian Greyhound named Tod. Together, we explore nature and the world around us, while I photograph and document our experiences.
I attended various universities where I studied education, French and Spanish for 4 years. After a health-related break from studies, I rediscovered my passion for animals, and began studying dog training and behaviour while working as a dog walker, in a doggie daycare, and even as a puppy trainer! I now continue my education in dog behaviour, have obtained ABCDT(hons) CTDI and AACE training credentials, and have a goal to work with pet behaviour consulting virtually and in person around the world, but nothing set in stone yet.
Certifications
This 1-year program gave me the starting skills and knowledge that I needed to continue my education. Though some of their information was outdated compared to the quickly evolving world of animal behaviour research, I gained starting knowledge about puppy developmental stages, beginners’ training techniques, breed groups and types, and more.
