This summer, we made a big change and decided to go where the work was, renting a place instead of staying in the RV. Alberta winters are no joke, and while we love the RV lifestyle, it just wouldn’t work without skirting it—and that’s a no-go with our insurance. Plus, it’s our only vehicle! So, we’ve settled into a cozy little house, and we’re really enjoying the extra space compared to the RV.
We’re not giving up on the RV, though! We plan to hit the road again in the summer. But for now, we’re embracing life as house dwellers.
This shift means I probably won’t have as many wildlife encounters or travel stories to share for a while. Instead, I’ll be focusing on what I love most: dog training and behavior tips. There’s so much to talk about, it’s hard to know where to begin!
On the writing front, I’ve been working hard on my e-book, something I started a few years back. I’m aiming to have it ready in the next week or two, which is both exciting and a little nerve-wracking. This will be my first book—Puppy 101—and I can’t wait to release it on Kindle within the month.
Anyway, more training content is on the way! Stay tuned as we continue to settle into this new chapter of life in a house—quite a change from RV living, aka “the car”!
